Course Description
This is the fourth of 10 modules included in the Anesthesia Assistant Training Program (AATP). Pre-anesthetic evaluation via patient interview and physical examination is discussed. Concepts of risk assessment and patient optimization prior to sedation / anesthetic are introduced. Describe the steps of the patient interview as the most important mechanism for pre-anesthetic evaluation
Identify patients with a potential difficult airway
