Course Description

Rationale and techniques of patient monitoring during office based sedation / anesthesia are covered in detail. Course Objectives
Identify the rationale for monitoring patients who are sedated / anesthetized in the dental office
Describe methods for monitoring airway, ventilation, oxygenation and EEG during office based sedation
Identify normal sinus rhythm
Discharge parameters for safe discharge of anesthetized patients
