Course Description
The anesthesia assistant plays a vital role as a member of the anesthesia team. This presentation will familiarize the anesthesia assistant with various anesthetic agents.
Course Objectives
Discuss the pharmacology of benzodiazepines, opioids and sedative/hypnotic agents
List 2 adverse reactions to each of the above drug groups
Recognize adverse reactions to local anesthetics
